Step 1: Open the Registration Form

Account Settings Worth Configuring

Edge case from QA log: a player with an Ontario driver licence and a Quebec utility bill (cross-province residency during a move) needed a short note in the upload form explaining the mismatch. SumSub approved within 6 hours after the explanation. Without the note, the document set would have been rejected for address inconsistency.

Quebec residents using a French-language Hydro-Quebec bill: no translation required. The SumSub OCR has been trained on French Canadian utility templates since Q2 2026.

Two-Factor Authentication Setup

Enabling 2FA is the single highest-impact security action after account creation. Without it, a leaked password gives an attacker full access to deposits and withdrawals (KYC-bound withdrawal addresses prevent total loss but still allow play-down). Setup takes 3 minutes.

Step 1: open Account > Security > Two-Factor Authentication. The system displays a QR code and a 32-character recovery key. Step 2: open Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password TOTP. Scan the QR code or paste the key manually. The app generates a 6-digit code that rotates every 30 seconds. Step 3: enter the current code in the verification field on Golisimo. Step 4: download or print the recovery key and store it offline. Without the recovery key, losing the phone locks the account for 7 days while support manually verifies identity via fresh KYC.

Once enabled, login requires email plus password plus current 6-digit code. Withdrawal also requires a fresh code regardless of session age, which blocks session-hijack attacks. Time-based codes work offline once the device clock is correct.

SMS as a fallback is not recommended due to SIM-swap risk on Canadian carriers (documented in 2023 CRTC report). Use an authenticator app instead.

Common Registration Errors and Fixes

Fix: photograph the passport on a matte dark surface, no flash, room light only. Resubmit. Average manual review time is 14 hours; OCR pass is under 90 seconds.

ERR_DUPLICATE catches households where two adults share one IP and one router. Operator policy allows two accounts per household provided each completes independent KYC with separate Interac e-Transfer numbers.
